We think of growth not as a single practice, but as several interlocking ones. Positioning is inseparable from product, media is inseparable from sales, and building durable revenue is the ultimate goal of any engagement. Tactics and channels come and go, but we have found these principles to be timeless.
As partners, we strive for honesty and clarity. Our first job is to understand the client's vision and needs, not to present our own. We value timeliness, direct communication, and working prototypes over polished decks, as well as the occasional face-to-face meeting over a drink or a meal.
Over the years, we have been fortunate to collaborate with excellent founders and operators on meaningful projects, but we believe it is still too early to weigh in on the success of the work. A company exists in time and its value is directly related to how well it continues to perform in the market.
We are proud of our operator roots and the categories we have built in, but we do not consider ourselves specialists of any one vertical. Category orthodoxy has no place in growth, where a business must first and foremost be suited to its own market, customers, and moment.
